Patrik Johansson

In 2013, Patrik Johansson earned his M.Sc. in bioengineering from Linköping University, Sweden. He visited NESAC/BIO during Jan - May 2013 and investigated collagen and osteocalcin at various surfaces, for his diploma work. During Feb - June 2014, he was back as a visiting scientist where he developed and used the technique vibrational sum-frequency scattering for studies of protein fibers in aqueous environments. Starting autumn 2014, Patrik started work as a graduate student at NESAC/BIO, where he continues to develop and apply nonlinear optical techniques for the investigation of biomaterials, most notably protein fibers.
