In tandem with the NESAC/BIO Workshop, UWEB21 holds their annual Biomaterials Intensive Short Course which introduces the fundamental principles behind the application of biomaterials in medical devices. The perspective is on the key issues and controversies that biomaterials practitioners confront. Topics include biology, medicine, engineering, tools used to evaluate biomaterials, biomedical devices, and trends in
biomaterials. NESAC/BIO and UWEB21 now offer a discount when registering for both events.

The NESAC/BIO Registration Fee includes reference materials developed by the instructors, refreshment breaks, a wine and hors d’oeuvres reception, and lab demonstrations.

Workshop Slides
All workshop attendees will receive a free CD of the workshop slides at check-in. If you bring a laptop to the workshop, you will be able to view this CD of slide copies at your desk, as you also view the slides on the overhead screen.
Optionally (+$50), you may also sign-up (IN ADVANCE ONLY) for a 3-ring binder of slide copies which you can write notes on. This binder weighs about 3 lbs. This optional binder will not be available for sale at the workshop and must be paid for and ordered in advance of the workshop due to assembly costs.
Refund Policy
If you enroll and cannot attend, a refund of the registration fee less $45 will be granted if requested by Aug 2, 2016. After this date, a total of $100 will be deducted from your refund. Refunds will not be granted to registrants who fail to cancel prior to the opening of the course. If you are unable to attend, you may send another person in your place.
